My visit to Smoove Ice Cream in Chinatown, NYC, was an overwhelmingly positive experience that I can’t wait to repeat. From the moment I stepped into the charming little shop, I was greeted with friendly smiles and the delightful aroma of freshly made waffle cones.
✔️ Bihh I went in there and my diabetes started acting up but I didn’t GAF
I started to noticed how Smoove was for “The Culture” Umm hello!!! The name is Smoove not Smooth
✔️ They got flavor, literally.
Speaking of flavors flavors at Smoove Ice Cream try the "Harlem Honeycomb" or "Brooklyn Brownie" in a waffle cone.
✔️I HAD THAT GOT DAM CROFFLE , a croissant mixed with waffle WTF! A lil tough (croissant textured) and not warm but it was SUPER GOOD.
The ice cream was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. It was clear that a lot of love and care went into crafting these unique and delicious treats.
The staff was attentive and patient, allowing me to sample a few flavors before making my final choice.
Despite a small hiccup involving a rude remark from a heavyset white woman about reparations, which was completely inappropriate and unnecessary, it did not tarnish my experience.
✔️This big back alabaster bishhh thought it was cool to mention reparations in the form of a joke when she should’ve been consulting a life coach/canckle specialist carrying all that hate and weight.
The staff handled the situation gracefully, ensuring that all customers felt welcome and respected. Their professionalism and kindness reinforced the positive atmosphere of the shop.
✔️Ppl may have disdain for black folks but Asians seemingly despise the unthin 😁
What stood out most about my visit to Smoove Ice Cream was the sense of community and inclusion. It’s a place where everyone can enjoy a scoop of happiness, regardless of their background. I felt seen, valued, and appreciated as not just customer, A BLACK CUSTOMER !
