What’s interesting is you walk into a family styled building with a fish market right in the front. It can be a little confusing when you first come in because the hostess is through a short hallway into the dining room. You can have you meal in the dining room, but the deck is where the action is. I watched the sunset over the water and enjoyed yachts passing by as I dinned, and let’s talk about that! The food… oh, the food. Got-damn great! I had the butterfly snapper with lobster ravioli. Devine. I washed it down with a glass of sparkling wine and enjoyed a stroll over the city lit Lummus Park.

Almost any restaurant you find in Miami with waterfront views and quality food, you will run up the bill. However Garcia’s is more Latin inspired so the portions are large, the recipes taste perfected over generations and the servers are gentle seniors. The feel is family, and the food is fantastic.
